We bought him a little 50 dirt bike, but told that before he could ride it he had to be able to ride his bike without the training wheels.  Twenty minutes later he's a pro!!

 

I am SO proud of him:)

 



Mommies On A Mission ~ Week 8

Only 14 more to go.

Funny story... Angela and I met over 3 years ago at a play group, she ended up moving across country and we reconnected randomly in this bloggy universe!  Such a small world, even on the Internet!!

1. If you could live anywhere, where would you live?

I don't know if there is a place like this out there, but here is my fantasy:)

A couple hundred acres of rolling hills somewhat close to the beach (pacific ocean... you can't take me away from the west coast).  I would want an old farm house as a home.  Cattle, barns, horses, gardens, ect.

So basically I just want more of what we already have!  Haha.  I love what we have going on already:)

 

2. If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go?

I guess it depends.

  If I was going to relax, I would want to go back to Maui.

If I was going to learn/explore, I would want to go on a very long European road trip.

 

3. What's your favorite part of blogging?

Sharing our lives with family and friends!

Also, it's nice to have our happenings all written down.  Then I will *hopefully* be able to look back and remember them better:)

 

4. Coffee or Hot Chocolate?

Coffee for sure!

 

5. What kind of coffee & what do you put in it?

At home ~ Any type of K-Cups with a splash of hazelnut creamer

At Starbucks ~ Hazelnut Latte

 

6. What do you do to relax?

Relax??  What's that?... I have 4 kids, there is not relaxing!

BUT, I do enjoy sewing and reading.

I also and really enjoying my runs!  I am crabby on the days I don't get to run:)

 

7. How do you keep calm in a stressful situation?

I don't!  Haha, I am a hot headed person!  I really should learn to relax, but usually someone gets an ear full:(

 

8. Beautiful skies or clear skies with stars?

I love overcast days and clear starry nights.

 

9. Dog, cat or fish?

Dogs!  Cats are stuck up and fish are pointless.

 

10. Which last name do you like better, your married or maiden?

Married for sure!  My maiden was hard to pronounce and long.

Plus, I am forever connected to Daddy and my kids with my married name!!

The Many Faces Of Squeaker

 

Squeak is 2 months old now!

He is growing and changing so fast, it's hard to keep up sometimes.

 

He was exactly 12lbs at his check up

He flipped over from his belly to back for the first time at the pediatricians (what a show off)

He smiles and talks to us constantly to get our attention

He sleeps *almost* completely through the night

He is content being toted around to all the older kids activities

He favorite past time is still watching his siblings

For those of you who are wondering...Yes, his eyes are getting bluer and his hair is getting blonder!

 



 

 

 

Buddy Boy's Busy Week

 

Buddy Boy has had a BUSY week!

 

He turned 4 and started preschool:)

 

Buddy Boy has always been my baby and I have always treated him that way.  So this week has been eye opening to me.  He amazes me everyday with the things that he can do and with the way his little mind works.

 

He is definitely his Daddy's son. From playing with his ears when he is tired and his meticulous/OCD tendencies, to his love of quads and Jeeps and the drive to want to work/play with them.

 

I love this kid more then words can describe, he is pretty awesome:)

Mommies On A Mission ~ Week 7

Not only did I lose 2lbs (yay!), but I also reached my prepregnancy weight AND I tried on my prepregnancy jeans... They fit! So yes, as you can tell, I am pretty excited about it:)   I am going to keep doing what I am doing because it seems to be working for me right now. I am running Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with the double jogger and the two babies.  And then I am doing the Jillian Michael's video as many times a week as I can.   I have the upcoming 5K Mud Blast to keep me motivated, but I have something in mind that I really want to get myself... and I think I may make it my "reward" for making it to 120lbs:) We will see....     Don't forget to check up on Mama G!
